Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

Everything is clean and the staff are all serving with a smile! The food is great too!

Staff were excellent! Breakfast bar and rooftop bar were also excellent. I would stay here again!!!

All the services included in the price of the room (breakfast Buffet, afternoon snack, 1 hour massage)

A good all round hotel in a good location, the breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The spa facilities are average but clean. Airport shuttle, luggage services, and check in are all to scratch. Not exceptional but for a 3 star i would defiantly stay again.

Rooftop bar staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating!

Excellent rooftop bar and pool and lovely, helpful, friendly staff

The rooms are amazing! The hotel offers a wonderful spa experience with a pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop as well as a free massage (60min) and free afternoon tea. Everyone one was so kind and helpful! Especially Adam from reception and Vince from service! It’s definitely worth the money staying there and we can recommend the hotel 100%!

Everything and everyone was perfect !!!! For my next trip in Vietnam I will without a doubt come back to Salagon Hotel. A special thanks to Quân, Binh and Nguyen Duy Chung at the entrance, to Alice, Kelly and Hà at the reception, to Harrison, Owen, Vince, Dave and Rachel at the roof top.

I personally liked the fusion of old and modern design. The hotel is a bit entangled, to the point that we enter on the wrong side, and locating the elevator was an adventure. It is right conveniently located in the central area, within walking distance of the Cathedral, old post office, etc. We also booked the Mekong river trip day at the hotel and enjoyed the fabulous Spa. I recommend the hot stones massage!. By far, the best was the helpful staff. Fantastic.

Was unique and intimate unlike the crowded indifference of big hotels.

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

The staff was exceptional. The receptionist was thoughtful, cheerful, and communicated extremely well. Breakfast was also delicious, in a room with a beautiful view over the city!

Internet service was so poor. Breakfast also poor. Staffs are making so noisy.

Nice, clean hotel in backpackers district. Kind staff.

The Hotel is located right in the middle of District 1. There is plenty going on in this area with the usual knock off merchandise, restaurants and bars. Probably suited to younger travellers.

I didt try the breakfast cause i can’t sleep in the night the hotel near the pub&bar there open until morning

my second room had a great view of the sun coming up at daybreak

Location, the location is very convenience and strategic. You can get all items you need just within 1 minute walk.

The friendly staff, the clean and tidy bedrooms, location to bars and restaurants excellent.

Great value hotel on a main street in the center of HCMC for the price of a hostel. Ben Thanh market a 10 min walk, while right outside the door are some very good places to eat. My favorites are Babas Kitchen, and Royal SAigon both among Tripadvisors top ten restaurants is HCMC…. The personnel are eager to please, the manager even lent me his laptop when the lobby computer was being repaired. The cleaning lady asked to buy one of my many hacked phones, so instead of paying me in Dong., we did a trade, one for her and one repair for me,the next day she brought it back ….she was so happy, showed me a photo if her family on her new phone..probaby worth one month’s salary in Vietnam, meanwhile.at Samsung HCMC they refused to repair, my warranty only good in europe. …they valet parked my rented motorbike, a great relief oversight….spent 3 weeks, going back after I return from Bangkok

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

Staff is wonderful. They went above and beyond. Breakfast was great.

Close to metro station and pretty comfortable, good breakfast

The size of the hotel. It felt very homey and comfortable. The day person at the desk was very knowledgeable and accommodating, top notch and reliable.

It’s good location not in bukit bintang but nearest

Location is perfect. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Each bed has curtain so we has a bit privacy despite of staying in dorm. Breakfast was nice though it got a bit crowded in the morning.

The beach was beautiful. The restaurants at the Wharf had excellent entertainment. The property has many options for booking a stay. Luggage carts were available to move your stuff into and out of your room. (since hotel desk was in another building, there were no bellman to help with luggage.)

Location great. Comfort very good. Spaciousness. Ease of access. All in all we were totally impressed with no issues at all.

Location (although difficult to find in the night); possible to check-In in the night; breakfast included

The address we were given was wrong – the building manager had to come and get us and take us to the right property.. not good

Good value for money, very clean, confortable and renovated rooms. Attentive and helpful staff

Very new and clean. Comfy bed, fantastic view and utterly lovely staff. They raced to find me when I left my passport behind.

The staff from this hostel is amazing and very friendly. They received us like Family.

Great location right in centre of backpacker street but down an alleyway which meant it was quiet at night. Brand new clean rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Brand new. Some things still have there plastic wraps on. Comfortable beds.

The kindness of the staff was overwhelming. We booked one night and had the flight the following night – they let us leave all our stuff in the hostel during the whole day while we were visiting the city and in the last moment we had to print our tickets and they took us to the photocopies place in a bike ride to have it on time without asking for money. We saw they are improving the hall (maybe with a kitchen), so there may be more services in the future. We just needed a place to sleep and this place was perfect for that. Even though the first time was a bit difficult to get there, the location is amazing. It’s very close to one of the most active streets in the city: Bui Vien Walking Street -famous in the backpacker area-, but as it’s in an alley within another alley the loud noise of the street won’t bother you in the night.

We are the first guests, stayed 3 days 2 nights. The staffs are very friendly and hostel is so cool. They have a terrace where we can make BBQ and drink overnight. It is locatted in Bui Vien Street so there are lots of bars, pubs and restaurants around here. The atmosphere is amazing. Last but not least, accommodation fee is very cheap $4/person/night.

They have smart tv which connected to the internet even the connection not so fast at that time. The location was really great, right in the heart of the tourism complex.

Lovely hosts, decent breakfast free of charge, great location in District 1 and not too noisy. Highly recommended!

Great bed. Great view out the window. The staff is so wonderful. I love the porters. They are fantastic. Kind and accomodating to the max. Breakfast is great. If you don’t like what’s offered they will cook your order FREE!!! I highly recommend this place because it’s a great deal, clean, great breakfast, comfy bed, will accommodate special requests, cash foreign money and just take care of you period. If you are in HO CHI MINH CITY this is a great place to stay. Yes yes, same same 🤣

Location is convenient to move around and it’s situated in the most busiest street in HCM

Good location with tasty breakfast. Value for money.

In the city center. Close to every touristic attraction. Clean.

The staff were friendly, helpful and upgraded our room automatically. It’s in a really central position, right in the middle of District One, so a good basic hotel for a few days of touring. They contacted me by email about having a car at the airport to meet us for $20US which made it all so simple with a 1am arrival.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable (apart from the noise). Breakfast quite adequate. Very centrally located and close to important landmarks.

The location is perfect and the breakfast is sublime

I got the free upgrade to a bigger room (on the 2nd Floor) which was much more spacious and nice to have. However, for light sleepers, i would suggest requesting for rooms on higher floors because the roads were noisy. Not the fault of the hotel as I was in the heart of the city. Also, since I was on such a low floor, there was not much to see but road traffic and the noise that came with it. They have a road culture that involves a lot of honking. However, the staff were friendly and pretty professional, location was near the river and other establishments (such as modern coffee shops, restaurants and shopping malls).

They charged extra what I booked through booking.com and said sorry we only have suite but it wasn’t a suite it was like a hostel room

The stag went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Marko was the best help in accommodating my needs in the bar and restaurant.

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

It was at the best location possible, very nice rooms, staffs were really sweet

The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant! They had answers to all our questions and spoke English very well so communicating was easy

The hotel was spotlessly clean and centrally located. Staff were exceptional, especially ‘Thu’ who arranged trips and ongoing transportation for us. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast plentiful and good choice of hot dishes plus fresh fruit.

The service. The receptionist Thue is the best. Hue is also nice she wasn’t there often. The owner was also very accommodating. Love their coffee.

The hotel is on the main tourist party strip so prefer a room at the back of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the hotel and the room were clean.

Clean, tidy, great staff. Location ok. Great little eating area for meeting others at hotel.

central location, very kind and friendly staff, organize in a perfect way tickets for traveling also outside standardtrips, good breakfast, very good restaurant (5 Oysters) next door

Excellent location if you want to be in the heart of the tourist district. Located at the end of Bui Vien meant we had a lot of shops, spas and bars within walking distance. Staff were helpful and friendly and always up for a chat. Breakfast was sufficient. Loved the communal balcony looking over the street.

The hotel location is surrounded by pubs, lounges and restaurants. You can easily spot Hong Han hotel if you are new to this area. Walking distance to most of the attraction spots.

The pool have a beautiful view of the city. The staff is very nice. Also have a gym with equipment. And have a little shop to buy basic things.

Decent location in district 1. Helpful reception staff. Cheap accommodation for a city centre.

Really lovely hosts made me feel welcome from the minute I walked in! Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a great location- perfect for exploring the city!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near the city center. Phuc long, koi can be reach in 10 minutes by walk. Many shops are around and all main shopping malls are very close to.

Location was perfect right in the city center. Ben Thanh market is just 5’ by xe om or 15’ walking. The room was surprisingly spacious & clean for the price I paid.

David the host was friendly, welcoming & willingly assisted to our requests. He made us very comfortable. The rooms were relatively quiet.

Conveniently located, close to the center of District 1, visitors can walk to nearby locations. In addition, the room space is very spacious comfortable, suitable for long-term rest. Room service and reception are also very fun, friendly. It is unbelievable to have such a good hotel in the downtown area at such reasonable prices

Good location nice staff hotel clean Cheep and cheerful

Extra friendly staff, the booking.com app went crazy and changed the dates I was booking, so I contacted the hotel directly and they were more than helpful with it. I had to urgently solve this, and their response was immediate. So dearest David, thank you! Hotel was very nice and comfy.

Upgraded in vip room. Great! 1 night Stay was good. Near from bus station tourist neighborhood and ben thahn (10min).clean

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant answering all questions well and helped book restaurants and taxis etc. The location is outstanding in the middle of the city. The rooms were clean and the food was good. Excellent value for money.

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

Absolutely amazing hotel. All of my annual 50 trips are usually very similar, but this time I truelly got impressed by Lotte and stuff there. Big thanks for amazing time you guys provided for my entire soccer team!

Great Hotel, super clean with very nice staff and great pool area!!! Super comfy bed too

After 3 weeks in Vietnam, the Lotte was very restful. A little bit oldish on the edges and nothing particularly fancy nor modern but a very classical luxury hotel and extremely functional. The staff everywhere – reception, concierge, lobby, restaurant, pool area – is very professional. The pool is on the shallow side as everywhere in Vietnam but big enough for a comfortable swim with very good chairs. Breakfast is a full buffet with everything, Vietnamese, Western, Chinese and Japanese. The rooms are spacious with a nice view on the river (we had a Deluxe river view). Again, nothing fancy but very functional. The bath and shower with very strong water pressure was wonderful after a month of very weak water pressure everywhere else. Good wifi. We had room service twice and it was perfect both times. We also had the buffet lunch.

It wasn’t crowded, no tour groups etc. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Service was discreet and efficient. The pool is very nice and the poolside bar service excellent.

The friendly staff who went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our stay was enjoyable

The room is clean. Nice bathroom. Breakfast is yum and with variety as it changes everyday. Friendly staff. Very good location.

The property is large and gorgeous. The staff is amazing and I mean blow your mind fabulous. The room on the executive level was superb. 2 double beds , spacious bathroom and ornate detailed furniture. Location is also great close enough to walk to everything yet far enough from the madness. 10 minute leisurely stroll and you’re in the epicenter I would suggest the executive level as you have 2 different places to choose for breakfasts , complimentary happy hour cocktails , complimentary high tea and food all day long. You practically do t need to leave the hotel. Really really loved this hotel. As an added note , I’d you would like to exchange money , their rates are exactly the same as the daily rate. No charges no hidden fees. Was better than hunting down a bank ! Breakfasts down stairs is amazing I mean there is too much good food. Even a live juice pressed to press you fresh juices.

The room was fantastic, staff exceptional and location was ideal. The room was clean and well appointed and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely chat with many of them which gave us helpful information for the area and further a-field in Vietnam.

The staff were extremely friendly and obliging, Great pool

beautiful room, good size and superb view. Bed on the very soft side.. a little too soft for me but good overall. Nice little kitchen, very useful.

STAFF ARE REALLY FRIENDLY AND WILL HELP YOU WITH OTHER QUERIES

Simple and Clean. TV channels plenty to choose. Close vicinity to eat

friendly staff…….close to all that district 7 has to offer

Khách sạn mới. Sạch sẽ , yên tĩnh. Nhân viên rất thân thiện

Central location, minutes walk from the main station with easy links to the airport and walking distance to city centre 👍🏼 Lovely apartament and powerful shower 🚿

Definitely I will suggest this hotel to everyone quality is higher than the price and the rooms are very spacious I stayed in superior room it very nice for me and my fiance. The hotel location is so close to everywhere subway station, mall there’s 2 mall’s behind the hotel with carrefour market and the restaurants inside mall, 5 to 7mins from jing an temple and the city center. And thank’s for daisy from reception she was really helpful and the girls.

The room is not up to standard and does not look anything like the pictures that were provided. The room has very bad lighting and the sheets are somewhat dirty. The things I received at this hotel was not worth the money and I highly recommend anyone to book at this place to stay clear

Sunyi tidak bising. Aman. Receptionis sangat cekap dan efficient dan friendly.

Everything was perfect in Villa Tonina. Beautiful views, nice and really clean room with all you need. Good wifi.

Very helpful and friendly stuff. You can exchange money in recepcion if you need(with fair course)

Nhân viên thân thiện, hỗ trợ nhiệt tình với khách hàng. Phòng sạch sẽ. Khách sạn nằm ngay khu trung tâm, di chuyển ra khu vực q1,3,5 rất thuận tiện, chừng 5-15p.
