Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

Direct train from Shonefeld airport + 15 minute by foot is required to get to the hotel.

What a great find! We were there to attend a concert and when we got back, such a lovely member of staff got us a drink and chatted – in excellent English. Good breakfast too. We would stay there again.

I was very pleased with my stay and the staff were very friendly and always helpful. I would have loved tea and coffee facilities in the room, it would have been great. Otherwise I was very happy with everything else.

Staff were very pleasant, the room very comfy and the breakfast was superb.

Wonderful breakfast. Quiet hotel. Good value for money.

good position (good traffic connection) 24hours open desk bar in house & other pubs nearby breakfast okay (but nothing special) helpful staff younger staff was very nice very few distance to "Waldbühne" and "Olympiastadion" uncomplicated stay good and free WiFi clean comfortable space and stowage comfortable bed

Very friendly staff, speaking fluent English, possibility to check-in/out anytime (reception 24/7). Huge lockers, capsules ensure some privacy, power socket available near every bed.

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

Room was great. Not too small, clean bathroom. Towels and shower gel were available. Location was perfect.

This hotel is more a Hostel than Hotel. I missed that when I booked, thus the noisy youngsters was a bother while I tried to work. The location is fine, but I thought I paid way too much for what I received

It’s great for events at Tempodrom as it’s just like 10 minutes away on foot. It’s also really easy to get to any part of Berlin because there are 3 metro stations within walking distance. Also the staff was really nice and helpful and the room was tidy and pleasant.

Great place – close to the city center, clean rooms and nice personal. What suprised us was the fact, that we had reservation for 3-beds room, but we were in 6-beds room at the end (but nobody came, so this was good).

Breakfast was great, a lot to eat. Close to train stations and within walking distance from Potsdamer Platz and Kreuzberg. Definitely will come back again.

The great location of the hotel, the helpful staff and the atmosphere in general.

Location is near subway. Easy to reach different restaurants

A very convenient, no-frills stay in Berlin. Well-situated when it comes to taking public transport, perfect for a city break if you don’t especially value your creature comforts – it makes a perfect base for sightseeing, touring and partying.

Th rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was excellent for our conference. Easy access from the airport.

Definitely the best thing is the location and the excellent service

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

Very smart … lovely seating areas to meet and just chat. Beds and pillows very very comfortable. Staff very friendly helpful …. and spoke English which was good for us as our German is very halting,

The Hotel was very Cozy, the staffs were very helpful, the bed was extremely comfortable, to bad we only stayed here for one night, sure we will be back

Great linens, fabulous interior design. Very quiet.

very classy hotel, excellent location, very good restaurants nearby, also city transport, staff very responsive – one of best hotels ever visited – 100 years old, small, intimate but beautifully modernized

Almost the first question that the lady at check-in asked was about my journey. She also gave me a booklet with nearby restaurants and points of interest marked on a handy map. My initial impression is of a customer-focused approach. This is very important. The public areas of the hotel are very attractive. The room itself was comfortable with a touch of luxury that was most welcome at the end of a long day. I slept very well and was not disturbed in any way. Breakfast can be included and, if it is, you can choose from a well-stocked buffet or have a dish specially prepared. The quality is very high indeed and I would certainly recommend it.

One of the best hotels ever. All of the staff extremely polite, after the check out they gave us water for the rest of the journey & candies!!!!

Just like a dream! Beautifully styled with Modern Superior Luxe finishes everywhere you look. The most professional, courteous and friendly staff all throughout the hotel. Exquisite food.

Very good location. Calm, peaceful and decent neighbourhood. Many restaurants in the nearby (including the one in the hotel but it is always good to have a choice). Very polite and helpful personnel. Extremely good interior design, consistent with original design of the hotel (art nouveau). In fact, it looks better than on pictures presented at booking.com. Spacious and comfortable rooms (superior).

Loved their colorful toilet paper! Bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet, sunny and airy! Very rare these days one gets a big window in a hotel room and can be open simultaneously!

Fantastic food, lovely comfortable rooms, helpful staff – overall a lovely stay. Will definitely bee booking to return!

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

Breakfast was fab. We were upgraded to an apartment which was great as just a room would have been a bit claustrophobic.

Good point: location( near the station). clean room. useful shops near the hotel. good breakfast. enough for sleep.

Very close to public transport. Easy to access via car.

Close to city transport, supermarkets and restaurants. Good breakfast .

Dave said: The breakfast ladies were very nice and the whole breakfast spread was beautiful, and plenty to choose from. Very tasty, well presented and very good!

Good wifi connection. Apartment facilities ware useful, The dishwasher not well worked but they repaired quickly. The bleakfast ( includes!) was great specially the tea selection was excellent.

It was a comfortable room and a beautiful breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Washing machine was available to use in laundry which was helpful as we had been travelling for a week. The metro station was less than 5 minutes walk so easy to get to main train station and to see sites.

Central location. Clean modern rooms . Wide choice for breakfast

The room was small, but adequate. The breakfast had great variety of choice and fresh coffee. The off street secure parking was great for our small camping van. The bed was comfortable. The location next to the U Bahn was very convenient. The local shopping street and restaurants was wonderful.

Very professional staff and love the travel info and exchange in the lobby.

central heating pipes need to be serviced. You can have a hard time going to sleep because of the sound of water running through them.

ery poor wifi internet and very small room overall its ok but i am not satisfied

The price was excellent and really cheap, the location near the U-Bahn is the real strong point of this hotel. Seemed to be clean, ideal if you just have to sleep

Simple, clean, hotel ideal for a short stain Berlin. Very central location – 10 minute walk to Zoologische Garten Station and Ku’damm. Some great restaurants nearby (Hasir – Turkish, Elefant – German/Schnitzel are two that I liked). Wide breakfast selection. Great value for money considering the location.

Cheap price, Very quite at night, Good breakfast. Ubann at the door

Very good location and close to transportation. Good breakfast.

The hotel was average. We were given a large 4-bed room though we just booked a double, so we had plenty of room for 2 cribs. The hotel has several cribs available. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of foods (sweet, savory, light, or more hearty). Beware, they are pretty strict on when you can get breakfast (7-10am I think)

Real close to all public transport and parking included so park and ride is great here

For that price the hotel is ok. I like the free privat parking and the shower with hot water.

Great hotel, fantastic staff, amazing pool. Very comfy rooms.

Brief reviews in English (and other languages)

The staff was super friendly and you got a nice place to stay for the value!

Great breakfast. On bus route to airport. Pretty good value.

very clean and pleasant people in reception, little old fashioned style but price was good

nice and cheap hotel, there is a bus to schönefeld airport in few steps from the hotel

The beds at the hotel were very comfortable. Around a 10-15 minute walk to the U Bahn in the shopping centre.

I was pleased with the courtesy of the staff. The breakfast was excellent. The location was pleasant. The room was comfortable. All the facilities in the room such as en-suite, television, etc were very good.

The area was quiet, it was not far from the airport with the bus stop in front of the hotel. The price was good and the reception is open 24/7, with a great bar.

Conventional 80’s style hotel with red decor. Good choice if you’re looking for an option to stay only one night without any glamour. A parking lot was positive.

The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and it made travelling light.

Very nice and very close to the centre of budapest.

the location is convenient to access easily most of areas

A good location to reach Berlin centre and also Westend.

An excellent location. Reach and various breakfast. Good lobby bar. Well equipped children room.

Very comfortable beds and pillows, perfect breakfast menu, very clean and cozy hotel.

Room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for a family of 4. The hotel is very convenient to public transportation, which made getting around Berlin very easy. The hotel bar and restaurant were great – really enjoyed breakfast, despite the rather high price. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Great gym and sauna too!

Fantastic hotel. Family room spacious enough for our 4 year old twins. Bed really comfy and excellent breakfast. Boys enjoyed gaming room too. Location was perfect too. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked to go back next year.

It’s a really good hotel I like it but a little bit expensive

Really friendly staff and very central location. Nice big room. Integrated carpark. Room was very clean and seemed updated.

Clean & tidy, rooms sufficient for required 2 nights. Easy to get to by public transport, staff friendly.

Nice location, big room and really nice staff. The room was ready really early and they allowed us to do an early checkin

Very good location. Next to the metro station. Very helpful personel.

Location was great. Breakfast included in price – decent breakfast too.

The hotel was very good value for the price. It was basic as I expected it to be for the price. It was spotless clean. The beds were very comfortable. Wifi was very good. The staff at reception we’re extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simple, German and more than sufficient. The parking was plentiful on the streets near the hotel and the hotel provided a free parking ticket. They also allowed us to park the next day after checking out, free of charge. Very central to Berlin. Underground station right beside the hotel. Highly recommend.

Clean rooms. Very close to underground station. Supermarket across the street. Very good breakfast.

It locates near the shopping center KaDeWe and the transportation is quite convenient. The staffs are friendly and the breakfast is tasty.

Breakfast has many kind foods and drinks. Delicious too.

Very nice genuine Berlin atmosphere in a rustiqe and quite spacy triple-room with ornaments in the sceiling 4 meters (!) above the floor. 17 rooms all located at first floor in a building with ordinary apartments inhabited by the locals. Simple breakfast, but good enougt to start the day. The location is perfect! So easy to go anywhere by subway, bus and train. Just a short walk to exclusive Kurfürstendamm shopping street and very big KaDeWe mall. A variety of restaurants all around.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good considering how much we paid.

Lovely old-style building and rooms with high ceilings. Feels very grand. Great breakfast. Two lovely restaurants just below and a supermarket across the street, so you don’t have to go far for food.

The staff is great!the location is great!the restaurant good!!!!

Perfect Location. Free drinks and snacks. Nice staff

Snack bar and breakfast area. Loads of choice and branded products accessible 24/7

Fantastic value for money – all day snacks and honesty bar on the 7th floor were a real bonus.

Excellent breakfast, cooked to order items as well as the usual fare. Snacks and drinks all day Kind a knowledgeable staff

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location close to metro stations.

Amazing hotel in a fab location. Could not speak highly enough about the excellent service from all staff (reception and breakfast both first class). Rooms very comfortable, I was travelling on my own and never felt lonely as there is a communal area offering snacks and drinks (complementary) all day. Also have an "honesty system" for the bar. Fantastic hotel in an incredible city. Would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel with a perfect location. Breakfast and breakfast room was perfect. Helpful staff, Clean, comfy and quiet room. Highly recommended!

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The location in the Mitte area we found to be excellent. The shops in the local area and bars/cafes were good and it was within easy walking distance to many of the main sites in central Berlin. The room was lovely and it was really useful to have the 24 hour drink and food available on the 7th floor. All in all we were all really pleased with the hotel and would go again.

It was simply one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Comfort, location, the very friendly and knowledgeable staff – all the best. The included breakfast was especially good, and the free snacks at all times of day on the lovely 7th floor lounge were a delicious and unexpected plus.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed, the attention of the staff and the facilities provide a good experience.

Perfect value for money. Great location. Very friendly staff.

Very beautiful pension and nice and kind staff, with the train station in front of it, that is very comfortable and convenient. Nice breakfast. internet works well.

Excellent budget accommodation in Berlin, very helpful staff, great location, good breakfast, close to metro, clean room, small refrigerator. Very quiet.

Helpful receptionist. Good sized room. Clean. Location. Freedom to come and go. Breakfast included

The Pension Classic is such a lovely hotel, staff are very friendly. The breakfast was excellent well stocked all the time, rooms cleaned daily. Staff were helpful when needed, would recommend it.

Interesting location near the KDW. Very good with U-Bahn station on the square plus buses. Try the one to Kreuzberg! The square is very noisy at most times, but the windows when shut keep the noise out excellently. Nice high ceiling and good bathroom. If you want smaller restaurants we recommend the area round Nollendorfplatz.

The staff is very polite. Very clean. Good breakfast. Very good location. The Ubahn at Wienerberplatz is 30seconds walking. Walking to the Zoo. Walking through the street with brand stores.

Room was very small but adequate, shower very small could not wash my feet but overall a good experience. The location was awesome. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly.

I like the location near the city center and shopping center – the employee are also really nice – the breakfast is so so but it is still good

Excellent location. Great selection of shops and bars nearby. Nice new property with elevated views.
