Property information

The uniqueness of the apartments lies in the location; this is the heart of old Tbilisi, in an Italian vineyard-covered courtyard. Old Tbilisi is known for its multi-ethnic, and close proximity to the Synagogue, Mosque, Armenian, Georgian and Greek churches. Also warm sulfur springs and Turkish baths. By the way, the name of the city is associated with these sources, but this is another story. All this is within walking distance from each other and from the apartments. It is unique that the courtyard is not touched by time and has been preserved in its original form with three generations of indigenous neighbors Georgians, Greeks, Armenians, Jews and Kurds. Passing the courtyard and climbing three flights along the outer staircase you will find yourself in an oasis of spacious, bright rooms with a light elegant interior and a good aura. The same tender and graceful ones, as well as Vova's granddaughters, in honor of whom the apartments Maria and Nicoleta are named. Also in the rooms there are French balconies overlooking Jerusalem alley with houses and balconies untouched by time.

Neighbourhood information

St. Kote Abkhazi (formerly Leselizde) The main and longest street of the old city, which diagonally crosses it almost from beginning to end. It starts from Freedom Square and stretches to Vakhtang Gorgasali Square (another name is “Tatar Meydan”). Once on this street on both sides there were shopping arcades and workshops. It was the center of the trade and craft life of the city and was called the Armenian Bazaar. In Soviet times, it was renamed in honor of General Konstantin Leselizde, and in 2006 in the street. Kote Abkhazi. The last time was not very successful, and the name did not stick. So all the locals, including taxi drivers, know her as Leselidze. By the way, his monument stands in a small square approximately in the middle of the street. The spirit of commerce in this place still exists today. Of course, you don’t buy a cow or a horse here, but if you are looking for souvenirs, wine, churchkhela, you want to change the currency, then you have come to the right place.
