For me it is a town of love in Kakheti. We visited it 3 times: in spring, summer and winter and it was lovely every time. Tasty food in all restaurants we tried and good home wine in all guest houses where we stayed.
Signaghi is an old town on the top of hill surrounded by the wine valley. That is why it is a good place not only for vacation, but also for a marriage. There is a very beautiful, small and cosy marriage hall and after the ceremony you can just go for a walk in the town to do nice photos, because the town saved the fortress wall and old church. There are several houses for a rent where you can stay with guests and of course there are restaurants if you want to have a dinner after ceremony there.

Great views of the mountains.
Great views of the mountains. In winter its warmer than Tblisi.
The locals are laid back. No chance you can find coffee at 10 in the morning. No decent Americano can be had in this place.
The town opens after 10.30 am or 11.

We were there mid October at the hight of the wine harvest.
We were there mid October at the hight of the wine harvest. It is a great time to visit Sighnaghi! There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, and lots of things to see. It is a perfect place also to start excursions into the neighbouring villages and the wine lands. Overall a very relaxed and totally hassle-free atmosphere that really invites to stay longer. Fantasic views also from Sighnaghi into the Alasani valley.

Sighnaghi is one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen.
Sighnaghi is one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. We stayed at Nana's Guesthouse which we would highly recommend. The house is lovely and Nana was really helpful. We ate at Pheasant's Tears and it was an incredible meal and wine tasting. The views from the castle walls are worth exploring as well. I would love to stay longer and walk around the city more, as well as visit more wineries. We visited Cherkeza's Zedashe on the recommendation of Nana who set up our visit, and really enjoyed learning about traditional kveri winemaking while we tried some excellent wines and chacha. This would be a great place to visit to see a small family winery in Kakheti!

Lovely village and very nice and friendly villagers.
Lovely village and very nice and friendly villagers. Great place to do wine hopping because each restaurant has their own wine. One of the place we like the most is Traveler Hotel and restaurant. Their wine is amazing and the food is tasty. One day is more than enough to explore the whole town. But if you like to chill out in a different restaurant with a nice view you and stay a little bit longer.

Sighnaghi is a quiet town but the sights are incredible.
Sighnaghi is a quiet town but the sights are incredible. We hiked there everyday from the Lost ridge with our toddler, the hike is straightforward and easy. Bodbe St Nino’s convent is nearby and well worth a visit
Overall, it was my best accommodation experience out of a 6 week trip in Georgia. The guesthouse was located just a few meters from the bus stop, but it was quiet with a large balcony surrounded by trees. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable with a large bathroom. The shared kitchen was stocked with tea and coffee, with plenty of space in the fridge. But our host was hands down the best part of the stay. He was friendly, funny, and generous! Fantastic value for money.
My stay at Nato & Lado was excellent. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Sighnaghi. The family that owns the guesthouse are some of the nicest, most genuine people. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. They also host amazing tours of the wine region. I’m so glad I did the tour because it was the highlight of my trip. They really make you feel welcomed and at home. It is truly one of the best places that I’ve ever stayed.
I liked everything , even more , I love this place and definitely will visit it again with my friends. Location super , view super , host and staff - all super excellent persons , I feel like I was as a guest to a close relatives.Super wine! Dishes - awesome! Here is everything you need to feel relaxed and comfortable . I love the place and we got very good friends with a host , really good Georgian
guy .
This wonderful guesthouse is in a great location in the tiny town of Sighnaghi. Rooms are upstairs in the clean home of an extremely friendly lady. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and glasses of wine on the balcony, from which there is a great view. It was worth getting up for sunrise from the balcony. Lots of hot water and the room was warm and comfortable. I am glad I stayed here.
I can't imagine a better place to stay. So friendly hosts. They do a wine tour that was great and they arranged my travel to Tbilisi after even though it ended around 18:00. Just go easy on the chacha because I am now known as chacha-killer after having a little too much my first night, hahaha. I really can't recommend this place enough. If you go to Sighnaghi stay at Nato & Lado!
I can warmly recommend Three Gracia to everyone. I have rarely been welcomed so openly here in Georgia and the hostess is awesome. The breakfast was top notch: there are even pan cakes for those who want a change from traditional Georgian cuisine and more international cuisine. One of the best hotels I have been to and will definitely come back.
The hosts Gela and Silvia were incredible. They were genuinely caring for their guests and provided a truly authentic stay and a glimpse into Georgian hospitality. Silvia’s cooking skills are second to none and shouldn’t be missed. She makes the BEST Kinkhali and most of her dishes have ingredients from their own garden. Delicious!!
This was the best place in all Georgia, the owner family is absolutely wonderful, they offer breakfast and dinner, food is amazing! Room was very cozy, clean and comfortable with an amazing view to the mountains. We felt like we stayed with our friends not at the guest house. I recommend this place to everyone who goes to Sighnaghi!
We've been to almost every high end hotel in Georgia's regions, this definitely stands in our top 3 list. The staff is very welcoming, Levan is very friendly, welcoming and he makes you feel at home. He's also a chef and the food made by him is VERY tasty. The view from our room was breathtaking. We will definitely visit again.
Very nice small hotel run by a family. We liked especially the room with terrace and the nice view towards the town of Sighnaghi. The home-made breakfast was excellent. There is also a little kitchen for all guests to prepare coffee or tea and to store things in a fridge.
The town of Sighnaghi is just a short walk away.
What a hotel! We've really enjoyed out stay in Kabadoni Hotel. Our room has been upgraded to the room with terrace and mountings view. Also, kind gentlemen on reception allowed our dog to stay for free of charge (usually 50 Lari extra).
Thank you for hospitality and bottle of wine ;)
The hotel is a short drive out of the city, and incredibly charming! The room (and bathroom) were very well done and we enjoyed sitting out at our terrace. We ate dinner at the ranch café next door, and breakfast downstairs, both excellent!
The best place we stayed in during our 3 week vacation in Georgia. Had really nice smell in the room, we liked it so much we bought our own. Very friendly host, we got some fruits and iced coffee when checked in and delicious breakfast.
The archaeological suite was exceptional with a living room and fireplace
Clean cozy and very comfortable
Breakfast is just amazing with a beautiful spread of georgian dishes
Beer is good too
Horse riding is an activity to try
Excellent location, in the heart of Sighnaghi yet quiet. The owner is slightly more welcoming than the average in Georgia, although she speaks just a few words of English. Nice living area, very spacious kitchen.
Amazing experience, we were welcomed as if we were true family members. Georgian hospitality at its finest. Looking forward to seeing George and his family on my next trip to Signaghi
Gio's hospitality was amazing. The breakfasts were great and his wine cellar and chacha were awesome. The best chacha we have tried so far in Georgia.🥃🍷😀
A must place to visit.👍
