This is the worst hotel that I have ever been in my life and I am 67 years old. Nobody ever told me that this "so called" hotel is in a 5th floor WITHOUT ELEVATOR AND IN A BUILDING DATING TO THE 17OOs. You even have trouble finding it because it is inside a kind of courtyard in a non-driving street. It only has an excellent LOCATION. It is the best location in St. Petersburg, nothing else. It is at 5 minutes walk from the Hermitage. This is the ONLY good thing of this so called hotel. The staff does not speak one word of English and to get your luggage to the 5th floor, they have a strange cargo "elevator". Anyways I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
Pay attention! They do not speak english and charge you more than the price in booking for the payment transfer, do not advising in advance. I pay 70% more than was showing in booking.
The location of the hotel was the best part of the experience.
The position of the hotel is perfect to reach the city centre on foot. The room was very clean and staff has been always available to provide services and hints about city.
Lovely little hotel, extraordinarily well located for the Hermitage and St Petersburg sights. It is literally around the corner from palace square. The ladies who run it are absolutely lovely, and we had an excellent stay.
The location is perfect, right beside the winter palace and Nevsky prospect, with nearly all the major sights within 15min walking distance. The hosts, though can’t speak English, are extremely nice. Highly recommend.
