I’ve read a ton of bad reviews of this place, but I have to say, the girl at the check-in was very friendly, the room was clean, the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. Yeah, it’s small and extremely basic, but it’s also cheap and conveniently located. Not a bad place to spend a night.

It was warm in our room. Hot water was really hot. Nothing else.
The location was okay. About two blocks from subway and supermarkets. The room was also spacious for its value.
Room was quiet even though it was next to the busy street and reception desk. Our room was ready long before check in time so we didn’t need to wait. Many good and cheap food options around and good connections to the city centre and Tegel airport.

The detai of the flowers on top of the bath towels over the bed. It was clean and has the basics.
Quiet and cosy. Located on a quiet street close to nijo castle. 5 mins walk to karasuma station. Attentive and friendly staff. They were very helpful. Nice bar at the lobby.
