The hotel staff was nice enough to upgrade my room for free as they ran out of rooms of my type. They added two bottles of free drinking water everyday, even if I had not finished mine, from my experience this rarely happens in China. Good view from the room as well and rather spacious.
The staff, with limited English skills, did a great job also regarding some non-standard inquiries. Never lost their patience with me and my multitude of questions.
We chose the executive floor. There the staff and their service were excellent, the king-size bed extremely comfortable, and the room well designed. The provision of a complimentary breakfast and snacks were alone worth between $100 and $200 over the duration of our stay: and the executive dining room was private, refined, and enjoyed a great view of the Olympic "Bird’s Nest" arena and the park in the foreground. In the main hotel, the restaurant menus had many photographs: this was an essential benefit for ordering from staff who spoke no english. I would emphasize that all staff throughout the hotel were very polite and helpful; and when a translator was essential, they found one for me, for which I am grateful.

Impressive lobby (think this is where all the money has been spent!) although we were told we would have to pay if we wanted to sit on the upper level!! Good view from room once I’d opened the shutters, curtains and the inner and outer windows!
Clean quite helpfull staff though most of them don’t speek english. Food is good and they have good alternatives for arab people and muslims as well concerning Halal food!
Great comfort and cleanliness of room. The breakfast buffet was delicious.
Close to stores and not too far from subway station. Clean and staffs are nice.
Good location, very friendly hosts. Nice gesture with a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival
