The staff worker danny boy on reception was over and beyond very helpful while we stayed in art factory. Espically when it came to us getting a taxi for airport on check out. Thanks again we made our flight👍
The location is amazing, the hostel organises lots of stuff so it’s easy to meet people, and it’s a big place so if you want to party you’ll easily get a group together. However, overall impression was of a very big hostel that was pretty impersonal. And then there were all the extra charges (vat not incl in price online, deposit for key, breakfast extra) mattresses have plastic covers, very small lockers, dark rooms. II don’t usually write reviews for hostels but I think the art factory chain is a bit over rated.
the first day we didn’t have eggs because we didn’t know about it and the lady at the kitchen didn’t ask us, the second day a different lady offered eggs… so ask for the eggs!!!
Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the kitchen ladies! Bathrooms were kept clean and were cleaned daily. Breakfast for us was included as we booked before they changed the policy – eggs, bread, coffee/tea and juice. Now it is 50 ARS pp. Free tango class on a Wednesday was a bonus! Nice communal areas.
The activities manager Danny Boy was an absolute hero. I’m usually apprehensive about activity managers but he never once tried to sell me anything and even though I didn’t actually book anything through the hostel he still helped me out like I was paying him by the hour. He gave me so many awesome recommendations I extended my stay by 2 days and was running around the city non stop! The beds are comfortable and everything is always clean. Good breakfast but you have to pay extra and a few different social areas.

Everything!!!!! This is a big old building and it was constantly clean! The bathrooms were always impeccable! The room was massive with a heater and a very comfortable bed! Breakfast was amazing! They cook eggs to your request but you can have as much bread, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice as you like!
Amazing staffs! shout out to Jorge, Danny boy and Saulo who are very accommodating and helpful. Tours available at the hotel reception. Simple yet tasty breakfast, Artist-impression rooms, Fast WIFI, BBQ nights, Great location, Value for money.
