A fantastic location, within walking distance of almost everything in central Amsterdam. Lots of space. Dimmable lighting. A proper coffee machine. A nice selection of books.
Location is fantastic. The room is pretty cute overall and the owners are friendly. There are some nice touches in the room like complementary fruit, stroopwaffel and crackers etc.
Very comfortable bed and the host left thoughtful touches which were very much appreciated,
Everything was absolutely amazing since the beginning up to the end! The location is the best everything within short walking distance, amartment stunning with all we needed and even with some extras like dressing gowns, coffee, tea & typical honey waffels which were so delicious! The host lady is superb and explain us everything about Amsterdam, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and book a taxi for us on last day for EUR 37.50 which was cheaper than if we catch a taxi on the street! Definitely wanna come back!
It was very neat, homely & spacious. Very tidy. The host was very very welcoming & a total darling.
The location is ideal, right on a canal in the middle of the city, so you can take a break mid-day. Even though it is central, it is fairly quiet since this is one of those side-canals. The bed is very comfortable so we slept well. This feels like an authentic Amsterdam experience, living "below deck" in a canal house. The ambience in fantastic, much better than a generic hotel room. The place includes a cute kitchenette, with coffee and tea, so we could have breakfast in the room before heading out for the day. We were welcomed with some excellent stroopwaffels and some easter chocolate eggs which were replenished daily. In short, we enjoyed the stay tremendously.
Not only is the apartment huge (actually bigger than it looks in the photos), and there’s a kitchen and dinning room, but the owner and her husband are probably the nicest people you will meet in Amsterdam. I am definitely staying there again.
Our host Elisabeth was very helpful getting us settled upon our arrival with advice on sightseeing and recommendations for restaurants. She offered us a refreshment while she reviewed the apartment and details of the area. The location was perfect. We left a cellphone behind by accident and Elisabeth mailed it to us promptly. I can’t say enough kind words for our host.
The hotel is inside of a big apartment with an atrium like most of the buildings in Milan, you experience a local stay. They upgraded the room with no extra payment.
