Location, though it was therefore in a crowded part of Venice.
Very good customer service via email including a clear map for finding the hotel in an email.Very clean and excellent continental breakfast.Great location in the heart of the Rialto district.Close to the vaperetto stop which is important if you have large bags. No bedside lamp which I think every hotel room should have.
This place was a bit tricky to find at first. But this old palazzo is so unique and old and interesting and wonderfully placed. Paolo met us and gave us all the information to begin our venture in Venice. We got up to our room and were under the impression that we didn’t get the room with a canal view because it was taken. Turns out , yes we didn’t have a view of the ‘Grand’ canal, but we had better. right out the window and below as a pretty , quiet, perfect small canal with gondolas passing occasionally! The hotel is well placed, convenient to walk to all areas of Venice! Breakfast was yummy. Coffee strong and delicious! oh yeah and finally there is an AMAZING restaurant just below the hotel! don’t miss it!
We stayed in room #5 because we were a family of 5 and it had 3 beds. We loved our room so much. It was clean and comfortable and had air conditioning and a fan. More then that, we had our own private terrace to eat breakfast while watching all the boats go by on the view of the Grand Canal. We had our own entrance off the terrace to come and go from and the location of the hotel could not be better since it is right off the Rialto Bridge. We will come back to this room again if we ever come back to Venice!
This palazzo was very atmospheric , and had a wonderful position by the Grand Canal . The price was very reasonable by Venetian standards .
The breakfast was great. Staff really nice and friendly (they were always willing to help you). The location is good (vaporetto n.1 Rialto) and a eight minute walk (the worst is the stairs in Rialto bridge and in another small bridge you have to cross to reach the hotel (a backpack is a good idea). Perfect air conditioning. Size of the room good (our room was interior, without nice sights 🙁
Well located, the breakfast was generous and the private balcony overlooking the square and the Grand Canal was lovely.
Breakfast provided was excellent, room was spacious enough for a family of 5. Owner was really great and very informative. We would stay there again if we went back. Excellent location.
Its very clean and you cant hear any noise from other rooms
