Landlords are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Room is beautiful, tidy and modern. This guesthouse is near to Enmachi station, bus stop, convenient store, etc…We had a good time at here.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were amazing.
Amazing staff, gave us excellent directions to nearby attractions with maps and details for public transport as well as a local event at a temple that night. WI-fi was also excellent and the breakfast provided was really lovely downstairs with fresh bread and a coffee machine, we thouroghly enjoyed each start to the day here.
At first I didn’t like being at this place but as I got to be more familiar I found it very nice and would recommend it. Alicia the lady that runs it with her mother was so kind and helpful and definitely went out of her way to help me…nothing was too much trouble at all. In the room you have it all…washing machine, microwave, fridge, sink, cups, chopping board etc. The bathroom is tiny tiny….but I managed okay. The bed was very comfortable and I felt right at home there. Bus stop is up on the main road, which takes you into town which Alicia explains very well. Train station down the road and I was able to follow her directions. She speaks very good English. You can help yourself in the little breakfast area to toast, jam, coffee etc.

Very accommodating and friendly staff and excellent value. The room was very clean and had great facilities. It is close to some places of interest and there is an underground/train station not too far away. Would definitely recommend it!
Very convenient hotel, super well equipped, very comfortable, it was a beautiful surprise and far exceeded our expectations !! The place is very quiet and nice and very well situated. The staff is 5 star! Super helpful, informative and friendly. There are bikes for rent that make the stay in Kyoto much easier and fun. It was a great choice!! Highly recommended!!
Though the building looked small, the rooms are spacious enough. The whole guesthouse was clean and organized. I like that almost everything you need is at your disposal--towels and toiletries, water, coffee--even a washing machine, an iron, and luggage service. There were even facial products on the bathroom sink! Perfect for those who have a daily beauty regimen. Our host was extremely kind and accommodating. She wrote down a very simplified itinerary, and explained to us how to get from one point to another. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Kyoto!!
The owners and their daughter run the place. They are all very friendly and extremely helpful. The property was a 5 minute walk from the JR train station and a very short walk to a local bus stop.
Fantastic position. Everything we needed for a one week stay. Nice and quiet but right in the heart of Montmartre. Pascal very friendly.
