The hotel is about half an hour’s walk away from the centre of Verona and I chose it because it had a pool and spa and I was looking to relax. I was not disappointed – the receptionists were lovely and the pool is probably one of the few available in a hotel in Verona because of the ancient nature of the city centre. The bedroom was comfortable, breakfast was OK, nothing out of the ordinary, and the bar was adequate if a little uninspiring.
