Love the location and the staff. Very accommodating staff.
Comfortable in general, good that it is just a several minute walk from metro stations. Good coffee/tea facilities and kitchen. Extremely clean. Friendly host. Great value for money.
High quality, especially in the light of Brazilian standards (meaning that, usually, in Brazil, even if you spend a lot of money, you do not get the value expected in a 5 stars hotel). The Novotel in Florianopolis can be seen as an exception to that rule. Though established as a 4 stars hotel, compared to other hotels located elsewhere in Brazil which describe themselves as 5 stars hotel albeith they could merely reach 3 stars, the Novotel in Florianopolis is a real value for money: well located, extremely cleaned, high training staff, excellent breakfast, etc. Highly recommended.

There were water bottles in the room. Also, it was nice to be able to make your own coffee/tea in the room (pick coffee/tea water at the cafe and heat it up in your room). We enjoyed the breakfast.
The receptionist was very friendly and the parking facilities very handy. I would recommend this place to anyone even though it is a bit far from the city centre.
