The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The air conditioning worked and the square itself was quiet enough so as to not be a disturbance at night/in the morning. The hotel is well located to get to areas of interest quickly and easily while being far enough outside of the typically touristy areas to be a bit more relaxed.
Very pleasant. We had a 3 day break in Venice. The hotel was ideally situated to explore and within walking distance of San Marco and The Rialto bridge. It is what you pay for budget hotel. But clean friendly and the manager was willing to please. If you want plush and luxurious then this is not the place. If you want something clean friendly and not expensive, a base to sleep and explore then I would highly recommend it. Thank you Hotel San Stafano, for a pleasant stay.
Good option in a rip-off town. The guys running it are doing great on a Venetian scale in terms of service.
The location is great! The room was small but as I was alone this was not a problem and I enjoyed the view to Campo santo Stefano. The wc is tiny but very clean and has all the toiletries. Felt really nice to have my cappuccino and cornetto outside the hotel!
Our room was spacious and clean, bathroom was a surprise as normally in a Hostel the bathrooms always let the place down. Very pleased with the service, location and the actual building is magnificent.
