Great breakfast, large rooms and good quality shared bathrooms
Location of the hostal – cool neighborhood, close to airport transportation. Good breakfast including fruits, cereal and whole-wheat bread. Hostal located in an historic mansion. Facilities including pool and ping pong table.
This hostel is in a classic old building. It has some really interesting rooms and excellent facilities – including a pool! They also have a great reception team.
Staff were really helpful. Beds were so comfy! Breakfast was amazing.
location was perfect for getting in late at night. Took the Aero Bus and walked several blocks to the hostel. Felt very safe as a single female since there were lots of young people out. Staff was very kind. Breakfast was yummy!
The location of the hostel is perfect. We took a bus from the airport that dropped us at the metro station Los Heroes, 5 minutes walking from the hostel. The area is quiet but safe, there is a little shop whit basic food just around the corner and a fancy italian restaurant right on the other side of the street. It is, anyway, just few minutes walking from the city center. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they also organize activities for the guests, guided tours or pub crawls. The breakfast is included and is very good: coffee, tea, juice, milk, yoghurt and then fruit, cereals, bread jam and, on request, eggs 🙂 The building itself is very nice, an old structure with colourful interiors. The kitchen is very big with everything you need, there are lounge areas, tv rooms, play rooms and a nice pathio with swimmingpool.
We stayed at Happy Hostel three times during transitions between Santiago and other destinations in Chile. The location is convenient, both for access to an inexpensive bus to the airport as well as for walks into downtown and nearby market areas. What stands out is the space -- an old mansion -- and how it’s been creatively converted into unusual and wonderful rooms. We had three different private rooms and each had its strengths and drawbacks. Breakfast was generous and on time in a light-filled room. Recreational and social space is ample. Staff at the desk was very helpful. Definitely good value for the money and overall an interesting stay.
The hostel is a beautiful, ancient house in the lively Barrio Brasil, just nearby station Los Heroes and also at walking distance from the center. Rooms are broad with high ceilings, handsomely furnished, comfortably heated. The bathroom is also wide enough. The lounge space is cosy, and there is a swimming pool in the backyard for summer. Rooms being at the rear, there is no noose from the street. The included breakfast is OK.

Lovely little hotel with gorgeous rooms and a great restaurant. Location is within 300m of the metro, so essentially near to the whole city!!
