Great variety of choices for breakfast, in a lovely room with friendly staff. I loved the local cheeses,, meat and fruit myself.
Excellent location – bus stop from Old Town was virtually outside the hotel. There are some lovely restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Lapad is an excellent hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was excellent with a lovely view (511). The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Its in a really nice area and only about a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and bars of Lapad and also the beach (which is pebbly so bring appropriate footwear if going in the sea). The no. 6 bus stops right outside the hotel on a return journey from the old town (15 kuna). I would recommend staying at the Hotel Lapad.
This hotel is well located near the bus stop to the old town – you can get there in 15 mins and they sell tickets at reception. The port is a few mins walk for boat trips to the islands. There are plenty of local restaurants, prices are about the same as at home and the hotel is a little more. But we only had drinks at the hotel. The breakfast buffet choice is vast and pretty tasty. Our room was great – junior suite for 3 of us. We very much enjoyed our stay.
