Why use 9PDPIR as an abbreviation?

During our review, you might sometimes see us refer to 900 Piazza del Popolo in Rome (29 characters long, including blanks) as 9PDPIR (6 characters long) for the following 3 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very groundbreaking, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and 9PDPIR is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes
  3. We save 23 characters every time we do this

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to 9PDPIR throughout the remainder of this review.

Also, we’ll sometimes use 9PDPIR38565 which is a combination of the abbreviation with the Travel Help Guru post id, which we sometimes use for THG tracking purposes to further differentiate abbreviations from one another.

Brief reviews (in English and other languages)

Luxurious accommodation. Excellent breakfast. Fabulous concierge

Small facility but lovely room and bathroom, excellent location and excellent customer servoce

The room was amazing and comfortable and the host Adele was beyond helpful and lovely. She organised transfers for us coming and leaving the property and the place itself was very centrally located to everything you want to do in Rome. There was a lovely continental breakfast on offer and over all the place was 10/10. We will be back.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, and then left to our own devices during the rest of our stay: a perfect combination!

The room/bed was incredible, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

I loved staying in 900 Piazza del Popolo, they were very friendly and helpful and made our stay perfect. The rooms are impeccable and it’s very well located. I just used public transports for the airport, everything else was in a walking distance. Really really nice place to stay!

Loved every minute. The property is newly furnished and has an excellent vibe, while being in a quaint building with a heritage lift in great location. The breakfast was simple but fresh, and the copious amounts of coffee and hot chocolate through the day helped us relax every time we came back to the rooms. We had a very comfortable stay and the rooms were wonderful. A warm hug to Ms Adele for trying to figure out a solution to our every demand and giving us great recommendations in Rome.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. On the day we had to check out we wanted to get some sightseeing in before our departure and we got caught in the tourist crowds. The staff were so friendly and packed and moved our bags for us and then offered to look after them while we continued sightseeing. They were amazing. The hotel was right beside a metro station and just across the road from an awesome piazza. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet and clean, modern hotel convenient to amenities.

The proprietor, Adele, was super helpful and friendly and made the whole stay a pleasure. I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel or guesthouse with cleaner bathrooms. You can’t be close to everything in Rome, but this place is very close to the Piazza del Popolo and the main road into the centre of Rome, Villa Borghese and the metro. Would (will) definitely go back again and I haven’t even mentioned how tasty the continental breakfasts were.
